Hello my name is Briana Perez, I am a Business management major and I have chosen the one and only Las Vegas for my location. Growing up my family would vacation every year in Las Vegas and it is one of my most favorite places to visit. When traveling to Vegas my family would always drive, so I would love to use this class to analyze Vegas in a geographers point of view and hopefully get a better understanding of its physical beauty.

Hey Briana, I enjoyed reading your blog on Las Vegas. I have been there a handful of times but never realized how massive the Spring Mountains were. I find it interesting that Vegas relies so heavily on the snowfall in the Rockies. Also, Mead lake has really dropped 100 feet since the year 2000? I knew we were in a drought but i wasn't aware how devastating it actually was. I will enjoy to read more about the survival of Vegas and how it gets its water in the future.
